Internship for R&D Chemist

During the internship period, you will be exposed to these areas:

• Develop various paints, coatings and other simple products.
• Mix compounds which do not react to attain a mixture with desired characteristics based on the provided formulation.
• Request and manage materials from supplier to produce prototype formulation.
• Prepare advanced samples, materials, equipment and other required tools for laboratory tests or development.
• Perform comprehensive technical tests, analyses based on formulas and project requirements; tasks that require technical judgement.
• Review and/or complete appropriate forms and documentation regarding research and development processes, tasks, results, and conclusions. Draw conclusions and receive direction when required.
• Perform specialised or complex calculations to prepare, perform, and conclude tests and analyses.
• Clean, maintain and calibrate all equipment and maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Science & Technology or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English
• Applicants must be willing to work in Glenmarie,Shah Alam.
• 2 Internship position(s) for duration of 6 month(s).
