Job Description

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the growth and success of the company, specifically focusing on business growth in the Southern region. This role requires a proactive and self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of sales and business development processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential clients through various channels, such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.
  • Generate new leads and build a robust sales pipeline to achieve sales targets.
  • Clearly articulate the features and benefits of the products or services offered by the company.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition to potential customers.
  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Lead negotiation efforts and close sales deals to meet or exceed individual and team sales quotas.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the sales team and management to optimize sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to align efforts and achieve common goals.
  • Take ownership of individual sales targets and work diligently to meet or exceed them.
  • Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge to enhance performance.

Job Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales goals.
  • High school diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
  • Age not more than 48 years old.
  • Chinese-speaking preferred.
  • Sales experience in the GPS industry, fleet card industry, truck sales, or tyre sales is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Persuasive and convincing sales abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic and competitive sales environment.
  • Own transport and willingness to travel within the territory.
