- Oversee and manage all accounting and financial operations for our Southeast Asia businesses.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements in each market (Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, and Hong Kong).
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing processes.
- Handle company administration duties, including coordination with company secretaries across multiple jurisdictions.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial planning for the SEA region.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and financial reporting processes.
- Oversee payroll, tax reporting, and statutory filings.
- Assist with financial risk management and compliance across SEA.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and administration, preferably within a multi-country or regional role in SEA.
- Strong understanding of SEA accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance.
- Proven ability to work with company secretaries and manage regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and regions.
- Experience in eCommerce or digital businesses is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Xero, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
