Maintenance Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities:

• Support mechanical work in production, as well as repair office equipment and buildings.
• Fabricate jigs and piping, and perform measuring, cutting, grinding, and welding using various power tools and equipment (e.g., grinders, cutters, drills).
• Understand and implement the safe use of maintenance tools and equipment.
• Conduct inspections of facilities and technical tasks to ensure smooth operation in accordance with established procedures. Repair or replace parts/components as necessary.
• Schedule and carry out preventive maintenance activities as planned.
• Ensure that preventive maintenance, as well as routine and non-routine work on all mechanical equipment, is completed accurately and efficiently within the designated timeframes.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications or licenses required (TIG, MIG, or SMAW).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective interpersonal communication.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
