Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Food Truck Manager with a strong background in restaurant operations and marketing. This role requires someone who can manage all aspects of the food truck, from team leadership to customer engagement, while driving sales and maintaining our brand standards. If you’re passionate about food, have a flair for marketing, and love a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure the food truck is fully operational every day, including handling inventory, placing orders, and minimizing wastage by planning product usage based on events, searching for event and calling organiser.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and motivate the truck team. Create schedules, manage payroll, and ensure the team is engaged and working together effectively.
  • Cash Handling & Integrity: Manage the cashier, process transactions accurately using the credit card machine and POS system, and maintain financial integrity.
  • Marketing & Branding: Drive customer engagement through creative marketing and promotional activities. Ensure the Ayam Gepuk Pak Gembus brand is well-represented and visible during all food truck events. Update videos and picture every event attended. Make contact with customer and organiser.
  • Build Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with customers, event organizers, and the food truck community to ensure smooth operations and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Sales Focus: Develop and implement strategies to boost sales, attract new customers, and retain regulars. Your ability to generate excitement and drive revenue will be critical.
  • Event Management: Coordinate and manage food truck appearances at events, working with clients to ensure smooth execution and top-notch service.
  • Inventory Management: Keep a close eye on stock, place orders as needed, and use inventory efficiently to avoid shortages and minimize waste.
  • Technology: Proficiently operate systems like POS, credit card machines, and Rabbit Send to ensure smooth transactions and order management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience in managing restaurant operations or food trucks, with a solid understanding of both the front and back-end processes.
  • Marketing Skills: Strong ability to promote and market the food truck, ensuring maximum visibility and customer attraction.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable with working irregular hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Persuasive Communication: Excellent people skills, able to communicate persuasively with customers and maintain strong public relations with clients and event organizers.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team, keep them motivated, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Sales-Oriented: A sharp focus on meeting sales goals, developing customer loyalty, and driving repeat business.
  • Independent: Capable of working independently and making decisions to ensure smooth operations without constant supervision.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with computers and systems like POS, inventory management, and other related software.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
