Shipping Assistant

To ensure in-coming Shipping Instruction is in order and correct before departure of shipment. To monitor payment or Letter of Credit status. To check on Letter of Credit for compliance and requirement for amendment. To ensure prompt preparation and presentation of shipping documents as per Shipping Instruction or Letter of Credit. To coordinate with customer service/production department to ensure production is carried out to meet shipment. To liaise with Customer Service or Logistics and Warehouse department to ensure smooth outward movement of goods to meet vessel closing time. To ensure receipt of Booking Confirmation with correct information. To ensure Container Booking List is in order and has been distributed to all relevant departments. To ensure prompt preparation of Pre-Shipment Documents for customs declaration. To coordinate with marketers and customers to ensure shipment scheduled and documentation prepared as per their request. To report any shipping issues and cost conscious. To carry out any job assigned by HOD and the management from time to time.
