Foreman (Proton)

1. Production Supervision

• Monitor Production Lines: Oversee daily operations on the assembly line or production floor, ensuring that vehicles are assembled according to specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure Efficiency: Optimize workflows to increase productivity and minimize downtime.

2. Team Management

• Train and Mentor: Provide training to new technicians and ongoing guidance to current staff on best practices and safety procedures.

3. Quality Control

• Inspect Output: Regularly inspect vehicles and components to ensure they meet Proton’s quality standards and specifications.
• Address Defects: Identify and rectify any issues or defects in the production process.

4. Safety and Compliance

• Implement Safety Protocols: Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are followed to create a safe working environment.
• Conduct Safety Audits: Perform regular safety checks and audits to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards.

5. Production Planning

• Resource Allocation: Ensure that all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available and in good working condition.

6. Communication

• Coordinate with Other Departments: Liaise with technicians, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
• Report to Management: Provide regular updates on production progress, challenges, and any significant issues to upper management.

7. Problem-Solving

• Resolve Production Issues: Quickly address and troubleshoot any problems that occur on the production line.
• Adapt Processes: Adjust production processes and workflows as needed to improve efficiency or address new challenges.

8. Maintenance Oversight

• Coordinate Maintenance: Work with maintenance teams to schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Preventive Measures: Implement preventive measures to minimize equipment breakdowns and production delays.

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of automotive production processes and assembly techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Fixed shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend jobs

Supplemental Pay:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Foreman: 3 years (Preferred)
• Leadership: 3 years (Preferred)
