  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Select Sites can use Javascript.

Venture Creator (full time)

Key responsibilities:

  • Attend pitch sessions and discussions with universities, research institutes, professors, corporates and researchers.
  • Screen technologies, conduct market research and due diligence.
  • Prepare investment papers for investment committee approval.
  • Management of relationship with tech transfer offices.
  • Working closely with the technical founders (Professors/Researchers) to develop the business plan including the target market, go to market strategy and IP strategy.
  • Conduct customer discovery to uncover pain points, barriers to adoption and value drivers.
  • Source and liaise with the start-up’s current and potential business partners for proof-of-concept projects.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and research skills for screening technologies and assessing market potential.
  • Swiftly understand new scientific concept through independent research.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and driving opportunities.
  • Desire to be part of a small team and and handle ambiguity in early-stage innovation.
  • Self-starter, ability to thrive and perform in an unstructured environment.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering and Science
  • A strong combination of technical and business education or experience will be preferred.
