Currently House of Shipping is recruiting for : Customer Service Coordinator for one of their leading global container shipping company.
Designation: Customer Service Coordinator
Job Tenure : 3 months (internship)
Location : Subang Jaya Selangor Darul Ehsan
Experience : 0 -2 Years
Education : Any Degree or Diploma in Shipping or Logistics
Job purpose:
The primary role is to effectively handle data entry on export booking confirmation and upload of Shipping Instruction and other related task on Import documentation.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Core responsibility is to ensure all Export activities from Booking to Documentation are timely and effectively managed.
- Correctly capture, update and release SI info in the systems and meet the stipulated delivery SLAs for timely release.
- Responsible for export and import declaration
- Issue import Notice of Arrival and EDO
- Co-ordinate with Customer Service, Operations and agency offices
- Strict adherence and compliance with processes & policies and deadlines.
- Make SeaLead easy to do business with, through:
- Timely Delivery of Documents (Booking/ Bill of Lading/ Notice of Arrival).
- Ensuring data integrity of systems.
- Constant and urgent follow up with concerned internal/ external Parties to ensure timely and accurate info relayed back to Customer.
- May perform other duties as and when assign by H.O.D
Key interactions:
Internal: Local and Agency Offices.
Education requirements:
Minimum Diploma in any related field of studies
Language requirements:
English – Fluent
Background and experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience in the Container Shipping industry.
- Export Shipping Processes and Documentation working knowledge is a must.
- MS Office Applications especially Excel.
- Basic knowledge of geography and port operations.
