Software Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Lead to join our team. As a Software Lead you will be responsible for Leading the team of Backend Development, Frontend Development, Full stack Development designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using a variety of technologies, including React, Java, .NET, Spring, Flutter, iOS, Android, Node JS, FileNet, ELK, Type Script, Hybrid Mobile Application, SQL Query, PHP, Angular, and Spring Boot, Java. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. 5-10+ years experience software development all phases of development from requirements definition and design to development, deployment, and maintenance. performance tuning, and monitoring , Database Leading, Oracle DBA, Database architect. Front end knowledge: Angular (ideally v15+), proficient CSS, HTML knowledge, knowledge of state management in angular such as NgRx Back end knowledge: Either .NET (preferred) or Java - must be willing to pick up either .NET or Java on the job depending on which skill they may not have. Database: Good knowledge of relational database such as MySQL, Postgres Security knowledge: good knowledge of security both front end (e.g. xss, csrf) and backend (e.g. authentication & authorisation). Leadership in Murex Program: The candidate must have extensive experience leading large Murex programs, including managing resources, overseeing delivery, conducting upskilling initiatives, and effectively managing client stakeholders. Proficient knowledge in designing APIs (e.g. REST & best practices). Testing and Implementation: They partner with Test Managers to ensure completion of various testing phases, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance/load testing, and application security testing, ensuring high-quality results. Some understanding of DevSecOps (e.g. managing cloud infrastructure through infrastructure as code, building & maintaining devops pipelines) Knowledge in some cloud infrastructure platform is preferred e.g. Azure (preferred), AWS, GCP Fluent in English both written and spoken Outstanding communication, presentation abilities and teamwork skills Ability to work autonomously, well organized Pragmatic and open minded Passionate about technologies Strong decision making and judgment skills (ability to make logical, pragmatic and structured decisions) Strong experience with matrix organization and business projects multi-disciplinary teams Roles & Responsibilities Develop client-side and server-side architecture. Participate in all phases of development from requirements definition and design to development, deployment, and maintenance. performance tuning, and monitoring Work with architects to finalize the low-level design aligned to standards and best practises Lead the development teams and ideate software solutions. Adhere to deliverables timelines and ensure quality, performance and security of the product Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
