  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible to create and implement various statistical models, data analysis, data quality and reporting as well as dashboard creation to meet EPF business goals.

You will also serve as a change agent to promote data culture across EPF.

JOB SCOPE

Data Analytics

  • Applies data modelling with analytical software (e.g. R, Python, Power BI) to derive statistical and data-driven insights for different market segments needs from various data points.
  • Evaluates statistical data to identify correlations and discover patterns with full understanding and accurate execution of all statistical models.
  • Performs data analysis on vast amount of internal and external data attributes and translate them into actionable decisions and recommendations.
  • Contributes to the planning and execution of various quick win and mid to long-term opportunities to enable EPF to become data driven organisation.

Data Insights, Visualization and Reporting

  • Analyze business activities, trends and forecast to identify opportunities and risks, develop actionable dashboards and track key KPIs, ensure data accuracy, automate reporting, and disseminate timely reports with recommendations.
  • Marketing and Customer Insights: Evaluate marketing activities to drive growth and retention, analyze guest experiences, create customer segmentation and optimize communication strategies, and understand factors driving customer relation management (CRM).
  • Communicate analytic results with data storytelling approach, including data maps to business and functional leaders.
  • Monitors dashboard and executes on data governance activities for data quality and integrity.

Data Quality

  • Engages in data cleansing and troubleshooting of data irregularities from different data sources/systems.
  • Monitors consistency and compliance of data quality and provides effective recommendation to address data quality and data integrity.
  • Maintain up-to-date versions of all data sets, quality of data and corresponding documentation across EPF.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Good knowledge on implementation of business data solutions (e.g: data modelling, data visualisation, and data analysis).
  • Hands on proficiency in data-focuses programming languages (e.g. Python, R, SQL, etc.)
  • Fundamental knowledge on data management disciplines such as data governance and quality, business intelligence and data security & privacy.
  • Analytical thinking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently with an entrepreneurial spirit and collaborate cross-functionally with many departments within an organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Malaysian citizen
  • Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent as recognized by the Government
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Data Science/ Business Analytics/ Actuarial Science/ Mathematics/ Computer Science, Information Systems/Technologies (IS/IT) or equivalent recognised by the government from any local or abroad higher learning institutions
  • At least two (2) years of working experience in data analysis
