As Associate Manager FP&A – Procurement Finance, the candidate is accountable for leading key global business and finance initiatives in partnership with senior management within the Global Procurement and Global Finance organizations. The Procurement Finance Associate Manager role is the primary regional voice in Cost Savings, Working Capital Improvements, and Inflation monitoring of which Senior Leadership (GSC and Commercial) relies upon. In the position, the candidate will gain a broad understanding of SCJ Procurement footprint, develop business partnership, and gain exposure to senior leadership. The position is based in Manila, Philippines, under the immediate supervision of the Manager, FP&A – Global Procurement based in Racine, WI, USA.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Report, budget, and forecast Regional and Global Commodity Inflation & PPV and own feedstock tracking and reporting, driving engagement and alignment with cross-functional stakeholders including but not limited to Procurement Portfolio, Procurement Operations, and GSC Finance.
  • Partner with Global and Regional Procurement functions through providing input, perspective, and decision-making on policy adherence to identify, track, and monitor annual cost savings opportunities as well as working capital improvements.
  • Drive and support regional and global initiatives to increase AP and Cash value, including Supply Chain Financing.
  • Manage any key global business and finance initiatives in partnership with senior management within the Global Procurement and Global Finance organizations.
  • Ensure procurement-related controls are in place including the financial controls for signing and executing contracts in accordance with Delegation of Authority agreement.
  • Develop a deep level of understanding of the market and supply base.
  • Partner to develop, influence, and implement category direct spend strategies.
  • Partner with the Procurement team on key direct and indirect negotiations.
  • Perform financial assessments of suppliers.
  • Support MEA Finance validation for Procurement-led molds and investment at third party manufacturer and supplier locations.
  • Support Commercial Finance on commodity-driven price increase justification including data and commentary.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA and/or MBA a plus)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in FP&A (Supply Chain Finance a plus)
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills (self, others, business), fostering business partnership
  • Communication and presentation skills including the ability to interface with and influence multiple levels of an organization internally and externally with a proven track record of cross functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage for results.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, organizing and evaluating financial data to support business decision making.
  • Risk and Opportunity Management, identifying, assessing, prioritizing and managing risk and its impact.
  • Manage complex projects with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Advanced level of English (required).
