- Drive logistic capabilities via process improvements initiatives to maximise performance, customer satisfaction at minimum cost.
- Review procedures and recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes.
- Monitor industry standards, trends or practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution.
- Analyse logistics data, using methods such as cost benefit analysis.
- Work with Supply Chain, Regions, shipping and warehouse team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with carriers and service providers to identify and resolve issues impacting service delivery.
- Troubleshoots shipping issues, resolve customs compliance issues to smooth the inbound and outbound shipments to be arrived and ship out on time.
- Provide timely communications to relevant stakeholders on disruption, identify impacts, provide recovery options, and estimate expected back to normal.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance for delivery and shipment status.
- Lead cost savings initiatives on truck turnaround improvement, track & trace, loadability optimisation and distribution management.
- Alert any logistics / shipping-related issues and problems to immediate supervisor for immediate attention and follow-up action.
- To perform other related duties and responsibilities assigned by superiors from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Logistics or related disciplines.
- At least 3 years working experience in similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good communication skills and can interact well with all level.
- Proficient in Microsoft Application and ERP system.
- Passionate for growth.
- Knowledge of integrated planning software would be an advantage.
