JOB DESCRIPTION - EXECUTIVE MARKET ANALYST

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Responsible for providing valuable insights and recommendations to guide business decisions.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE - EXECUTIVE MARKET ANALYST

  • Gathering relevant market data from various sources, including surveys, databases, and industry reports.
  • Utilizing statistical tools and techniques to analyze data.
  • Utilizing statistical tools and techniques to analyze data and identify trends, patterns and insights.
  • Preparing clear, concise and informative reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Creating visual representations (e.g., charts, graphs) to effectively communicate complex data.
  • Assessing competitors' products, services, pricing strategies and market share.
  • Understanding customer needs, preferences and behaviors through surveys, focus groups and other research methods
  • Identifying target market segments based on demographics, psychographics and other factors.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

QUALIFICATION & KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Office related work to Futures Analysis and Strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, statistical software).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interest in market trends and consumer behavior.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,900.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
