As a Business Development Representative, you will execute daily outbound phone calls/emails, contact decision makers (C-Level), build quick rapport, and assess needs. In addition, the BDR needs to also execute outbound prospecting campaigns to source, contact, and engage prospective customers interested in evaluating our client's products, lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process to achieve or exceed monthly sales quota.

Job Scope:

  • Execute daily outbound phone calls/emails, contact decision makers, build quick rapport, and assess needs
  • Qualify opportunities and handle objections
  • Conduct C-level conversations with senior executives in prospective accounts
  • Explain our products/solutions and value proposition to businesses of different verticals and sizes and explain how they address client needs
  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns to source, contact, and engage prospective customers interested in evaluating our products
  • Collaborate closely with client to create a territory "plan-of-attack", including target companies, target prospects, and messaging/talk-tracks.
  • Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process
  • Develop and codify best practices and sales workflows for interactions with prospects
  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales quota
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending regular emails, coordinating strategic discovery meetings)

Job Criteria:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT sales (Cloud knowledge will be an added advantage)
  • Tech savvy is a must!
  • Experience in consultative solution selling in B2B environment for technology products
  • Outgoing and confident in inbound/outbound phone sales with a great phone manner
  • Strong experience speaking with C-level Enterprise clients
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment
  • History of quota over-achievement
  • Analytical mindset and go-getter attitude; self-motivated to achieve personal goals and goals set for the team.
  • Proven success in generating leads and experience cold calling and presenting sales pitches. Organized and has pipeline management, time management skills and prioritization skills Bachelor's Degree / Diploma.
  • Required language: English and/or Mandarin, Cantonese.
