About the role:

Ink is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the Kuala Lumpur team.

As an SDR, you are responsible for pre-qualifying and qualifying leads from various databases and other sources, in Asia and Europe. You will take these leads and develop them through strategic engagement and nurturing until the prospects agree to a meeting with the sales team. This role is crucial in creating a seamless transition from initial contact to sales engagement, ensuring that prospects are well-informed and interested in the company's offerings

Job Description:

  • Actively identify, source, and pre-qualify prospective clients to maintain a robust pipeline of business leads
  • Research and maintain lead generation database
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the company’s products and services to facilitate the sales process
  • Qualify leads to determine their interest and fit for our products and services
  • Conduct cold calls, and schedule virtual and in-person introductory meetings to warm and increase the interest of prospects within our target industries and geographic regions
  • Schedule appointments for our sales executives to meet with potential customers
  • Follow up with leads and prospects to nurture the relationship and move them through the sales funnel
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and refine lead-generation strategies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system (Salesforce)

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales development or a related role
  • Familiarity with the technology industry and software products
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with making cold calls and sending emails to potential customers
  • Familiarity with sales metrics and KPIs
