About the Role:
The Sales Lead will be responsible for leading and driving the overall sales strategy and execution for our pharmaceutical products across Private & Government Hospitals and GP's channels nationwide. This individual will report directly to the Business Director and will be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Conduct market analysis, identify target segments, and develop sales plans to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team. Provide coaching, mentorship, and support to ensure team members are motivated, equipped, and aligned with company goals.
- Sales Execution: Oversee the day-to-day sales activities, including territory planning, customer relationship management, and product presentations. Monitor sales performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in Private & Government Hospitals and GP's. Understand their needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions and drive customer satisfaction.
- Channel Management: Develop and manage effective channel strategies to optimize sales performance across different distribution channels. Collaborate with channel partners to ensure product availability, pricing, and promotion.
- Performance Management: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including sales revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction. Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges to inform strategic decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and presentations to the Business Director, highlighting key performance indicators, achievements, and recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 - 12 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and other relevant tools.
