The role of Channel Development Engineer is to recruit new distributors who keeps stock and helps to expand the portfolio of existing distributors to achieve aligned GDA order and revenue targets.

This role is expected to be working remotely and/or with new distributors most of the time and coordinate with Channel Management Associate for any distributor events.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Growth in number of new distributors and increase in distributor revenue.
  • Develop key success criteria for distributor recruitment.
  • Have a strong pipeline of potential new distributors fitting to success criteria.
  • Onboard new distributors and ensure existing distributors to be self-sufficient in terms of pricing, technical and documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing distributors, providing ongoing support to ensure their meet their aligned GDA order and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and execute joint marketing and sales initiatives for distributors.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and adjust distributor strategies accordingly.
  • Carry out other duties as required/determined by direct superior.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3 years demonstrated experience in distributor development.
  • Experience in commercial and residential pumping solutions.
  • Able to communicate in English (Written and spoken).
  • Willing to travel within country and at times within SEA where required.
  • Have the discipline for producing weekly report and activity updates.
