Position Overview

The Presales Director will lead a team of presales engineers and consultants, collaborating with sales, product management, and engineering teams to drive growth of our solutions. This strategic role requires a deep understanding of our products and the ability to effectively communicate their value to customers. The Presales Director will be instrumental in shaping customer engagement strategies and aligning with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing presales team.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation.
  • Work with sales teams to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and workshops to showcase offerings.
  • Develop and execute presales strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Analyze customer requirements and market demands to refine services.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to provide feedback on features.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams for project execution.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, RFPs, and RFIs with technical accuracy.
  • Provide expert technical support during the sales cycle, including evaluations and demos.
  • Develop training programs for sales teams to enhance product knowledge.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to inform strategies and offerings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 8+ years in a presales or technical sales role, with 5+ years in leadership.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth in technology or infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of data center operations and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
