The Job

BoomGrow seeks a Project Executive with 1-2 years experience. Key responsibilities include planning, project management, risk identification and mitigation, as well as aligning team efforts with organisational goals. The Executive liaises with internal and external stakeholders to meet project needs and work within set budgets and timeframes. We are looking for someone with sound decision-making, leadership, problem-solving, communication and good interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and coordinate large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to define project expectations and milestones.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to update stakeholders on progress and address any concerns.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on deadlines and budget.
  • Proactively resolve issues that arise during project execution.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor project performance against defined metrics and analyze results for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for enhancement.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all files are complete, up-to-date, and compliant with organizational standards.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance and regulatory requirements.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Foster a collaborative team environment, motivating and guiding team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as a liaison between the COO Office and other departments to ensure cohesive project alignment.

Quality Assurance:

  • Oversee the quality assurance process to ensure that all project deliverables meet the required standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of project management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to motivate and engage team members.
  • Proficiency in project management software is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
