RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching & Learning

To teach at Diploma level.

Undertake teaching and teaching-related duties such as design, preparation, and development of teaching materials; conduct classes/lectures, tutorials, and practicals; consultation with students, invigilation, marking, and assessment

Establish and maintain high standards of teaching and effective learning to meet the College's teaching and learning expectations

Administration and Other Activities

Participate in administrative activities related to teaching & learning, and examination-related matters

Contribute to student enrichment activities and school committees as and when required

REQUIREMENTS

Possess Master of Interior Design/Master in Architecture/Bachelor of Interior Design with Master's Degree in a relevant Built Environment field/Bachelor of Architecture (Part 2)/Master of Architecture with extensive experience in Interior Design works/Bachelor of Interior Design with a minimum of 2 years experience in the industry.

Holding the IDr (Interior Designer) title provides an advantageous edge.

Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, 3D Max, Sketchup, and others related to Interior Design/Architecture programs, with the ability to guide students in practice management and constructions subjects.

Experience working in the higher education environment and a track record of teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development or good record of professional experience with evidence of coaching and mentoring and high quality of presentation skills

Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of IT technologies in the facilitation of teaching and learning. Able to use software blended in the teaching is preferred.
