What you'll do

  • Perform data analysis and dashboard in PowerBI or other reporting system(s) for HR reporting.
  • Identify key matrixes for data synergy across HR functions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in payroll technologies and employee experience enhancement.
  • Contribute to the development of internal policies related to payroll to ensure appropriate governance mechanism is in place aligned to Volvo.
  • Be the Champion for PX related application(s) and act as focal point for user escalations and ensure solutions are achieved amicably.

  • Identify opportunities for process refinement throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Participate in internal training, knowledge sharing sessions, and team discussions.
  • Manage Expat Mobility and taxation with the support of our dedicated partners.
  • Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Maintain employment data, time & attendance data in accordance best practice.
  • Prepare monthly payroll reports for purposes of record and due diligence.
  • Liaise with HR colleagues and Finance Department on day-to-day operations and finance reconciliation matters.
  • Provide backup support to other team members as needed, based on business requirements.

Competence and Qualification Requirement

  • Diploma / Degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required especially in Payroll/C&B
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Suites (especially Excel) and Power BI
  • Knowledge of good filling system(digital/physical)
  • Must be analytical in problem solving.
  • Basic Knowledge on Employment Act.
  • Relevant knowledge of statutory practises, ie EPF, SOCSO, ZAKAT, HRDF & LHDN
  • Good interpersonal skill and must be independent.
  • Must be honest and possess high level of integrity.
