What You'll Do:

  • Oversee daily factory operations, including production, quality control, and equipment maintenance.

  • Handle customer complaints or issues related to product quality.
  • Ensure that all machines and tools are properly maintained and functioning.
  • Plan and allocate resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of raw materials and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety training programs and implement procedures to prevent workplace accidents.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective measures
  • Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead.
  • Work to minimize waste and optimize resource usage to increase profitability.
  • Prepare and manage the factory’s budget, ensuring cost-efficiency in operations.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve production processes and increase efficiency.
  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and improve productivity.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Prepare regular reports on production output, inventory, labor efficiency, and other KPIs.
  • Ensure proper documentation of processes, quality checks, and inventory movements.
  • Report issues or delays to senior management and provide solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales, design, and procurement teams to meet customer demands.
  • Communicate production schedules, capacity, and any potential delays to
  • relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure all equipment is in working order.
  • Address any production issues that could affect customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to handle special requests or rush orders.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum requirement of a Diploma / Degree in any field preferably in Manufacturing, Woodworking, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing management role
  • Knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishing processes.
  • Ready to work in Rawang.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
