We are seeking an energetic and passionate QAQC Manager to join our team. As a QAQC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall operations of QAQC department and Halal Executive. Your main goal will be to increase operational efficiency and productivity while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record in managing complex operations.
- Lead and manage the overall QAQC and Halal activities
- Monitoring and ensuring good manufacturing practice is implemented by all level of personnel at all time
- Responsible to approve and reject any non-conformance materials, intermediates and finished products from further processing or delivery
- Responsible for finished product release Revise and approve SOP/ WI/ Specification/ Test Protocol based on latest regulation requirements and current practice
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customer, and regulatory agencies
- Manage and optimize the use of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
- To develop the annual departmental budget
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Revise and approve SOP/ WI/ Specification/ Test Protocol based on latest regulation requirements and current practice
- Acts as Internal Audit Lead Auditor/ Auditor for internal audit and/or supplier audit
- Provide regular reports and updates to Director on operational performance and key metrics
- Ensure daily operational efficiency by overseeing and close monitoring of the operational processes and workflow
- Monitor and process the productivity to ensure quality targets are achieved. Issues/ problems are fully analysed and resolved with appropriate action being taken to prevent recurrence
- Always delivers the highest level of Client services by seamlessly anticipating and responding to needs and functioning as a trusted business partner
- Learned in the technical and functional areas impacting clients and striving to achieve expertise and apply best practices. Produces a thorough and accurate work product with attention to detail
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, food technology, Chemistry or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Managerial role / Managing Team in related field, preferably in a QA and QC environment or working experience in manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of health supplements manufacturing process
- Ability to perform statistical analysis and strong computer skills are preferred.
- Good leadership skills can work with minimum supervisory.
- Systematic and positive problem-solving approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
- Good planning and organizational skills
- A team-player with the ability to work with colleagues and all levels of management.
- Innovative and a team player who is highly responsive and results driven.
