We are looking for an experienced HR leader to spearhead the People, Organisation and Culture agendas across both Malaysia (site), as well as our DSS (Data & Software Solutions) and Malaysia sales businesses, partnering with regional and local leadership.

As a Guru you will be accountable for:

  1. Create and execute the people strategy for Malaysia site and business partner populations.
  2. Collaborate with COEs to lead the implementation of the HR calendar - processes, enhancements and products bringing our employee value proposition to life.
  3. Lead and mobilise the ­­­­­­site and DSS leadership teams to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture where every employee feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their best work.
  4. Support implementation of regional priorities – such as embedding of our Guru Experience agenda or organisation development initiatives impacting employees in-country
  5. Support the development of headcount and budget plans and leading their implementation year-on-year.
  6. Partner with the business on onboarding and various manager development programs.
  7. Lead HR transformation initiatives in collaboration with COEs and HRBP colleagues.
  8. Provide consultation to leaders and employees regarding employee relations issues.
  9. Support Recruiting, Inclusion and Diversity and L&D initiatives in line with the HR people strategy.
  10. Analyse people data and trends to inform business decisions on strategy, people and programmes.

We are Looking for Someone Who has:

  1. Robust understanding of Malaysia employment law and workplace practices.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Previous experience in managing a HR team in a matrixed organisation critical and leading a HR team across SEA (or regionally elsewhere) is preferred.
  4. Results-driven and solutions-oriented individual; a person who has a can-do attitude, rises to the challenges and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Proficient in using HR technology solutions.
  6. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
