What is a Talent Manager?

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Talent Manager with expertise in social media growth to join our team. As a Talent Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage and enhance the social media presence of our Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) with the ultimate goal of increasing their revenue-generating potential for the company.

The Primary Responsibilities of a Talent Manager:

  • KOL Management: Oversee a portfolio of KOLs, including influencers, content creators, and industry experts, and provide strategic guidance to help them maximize their social media presence.
  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute social media growth strategies tailored to each KOL's unique brand and target audience, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Content Planning and Creation: Collaborate with KOLs to plan and create engaging and relevant content that resonates with their followers and contributes to their growth and monetization potential.
  • Audience Development: Implement tactics to attract and expand the KOLs' follower base, utilizing various social media platforms, collaborations, partnerships, and community engagement.
  • Brand Partnerships: Identify and cultivate partnerships and collaborations with relevant brands, agencies, and sponsors to increase the revenue-earning opportunities for the KOLs.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze social media metrics and performance data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns, identify growth opportunities, and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for KOLs, building strong relationships, understanding their goals and aspirations, and providing guidance and support to help them achieve success.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure the KOLs remain at the forefront of their respective industries.
  • Industry Networking: Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and forums to build relationships, identify new talent, and stay informed about emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and analytics, to align strategies, support campaigns, and maximize the growth and revenue potential of the KOLs.

The Ideal Candidate’s Experience:

  • Proven experience in social media management, influencer marketing, or talent management, with a focus on growing social media presence and driving engagement.
  • Deep understanding of major social media platforms (such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) and their respective algorithms, trends, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of influencer marketing landscape, including industry trends, audience behavior, and monetization strategies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with KOLs, brands, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in social media analytics tools to track performance, derive insights, and optimize growth strategies.
  • Creative thinking and a passion for content creation and storytelling, with a keen eye for identifying unique opportunities to enhance a KOL's brand and social media presence.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, adapt to change, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, mass communications, or a related field
