Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions and improve operational efficiencies. This role involves designing and developing BI solutions, analyzing complex data sets, and presenting findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The BI and Analytics Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver innovative data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation:
  • Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights.
  • Develop and apply advanced analytical techniques to solve complex business problems.
  • Interpret trends and patterns from data to guide strategic and operational decisions.
  • BI Solution Development:
  • Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions (reports, dashboards, and data visualizations) using industry-standard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
  • Ensure BI solutions are scalable, intuitive, and meet business requirements.
  • Data Integration and Management:
  • Integrate data from multiple sources to create unified datasets for analysis.
  • Implement data quality and governance best practices to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences through clear and compelling presentations.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in BI and analytics technologies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing BI solutions and processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with ERP applications like Microsoft D365 F & O
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Certifications in relevant BI and analytics tools or methodologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Certified Associate).
