Job Description

Execution and analyze the group statutory and group management reporting during month/quarter/year end closing and any ad-hoc reporting required by the stakeholders. To ensure the reports are prepared in accordance with approved accounting standards, and other guidelines issued by Bank Negara Malaysia and other local regulators. To ensure the reports are delivered within the timeline and to ensure completeness and accuracy.

• Execution and provide analysis for the group statutory and group management reporting during month/quarter/year end closing and any ad-hoc reporting required by the stakeholders.
• Ensure the financial reports/management accounts comply with accounting practices thus meeting internal and external audit and regulatory requirements, as well as industry best practices.
• Monitor compliance to accounting standards, regulations and guidelines issued by Regulators and any authority that has an impact to the accounting requirements.
• Analyze new accounting standards / pronouncements and implement the adoption of those standards / pronouncements.
• Participate/involve in project or system testing for implementation.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting / Finance
• Professional certificate ACCA/MICPA full or partial
• Preference in audit background at least 2-3 years.
• Preference with group consolidation/reporting experience
• Well verse in accounting standards
• Well verse in word, excel and power point
• Proactive and able to communicate well.
• Able to work independently
