We are looking for an exceptional Director, Procurement Asia who can manage a team of procurement managers that drive day-today procurement of materials and services in alignment with the materials plan and company goals. You will have regional responsibility for the full Procurement process and will ensure supply continuity.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the region.
  • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure efficient and effective procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Drive the transformation and consolidation of procurement activities withing the region in alignment with organizational goals
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage the procurement process from request to delivery and payment.
  • Evaluate market trends to enhance procurement practices and build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, manage procurement budget, and provide regular reporting to senior management.

What will you bring to the team, along with your creativity and leadership is:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred Masters.
  • 10+ years of Global Commodity or Procurement Management experience.
  • Experience managing multifunctional, multicultural global teams.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills to build supporting networks.
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills with executive level presentation proficiency.
  • Professional certifications such as CPIM, CPM, or CPSM are advantageous.
  • Travel availability for 25% of the working time
