  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Digital Braves owns and operates several gaming content sites in the region; we have media outlets in Thailand and Indonesia and are headquartered in Malaysia. We have a full-scale in-house team that conceptualizes original and insightful news and reviews related to gaming and tech in both written and video formats. We abide by a strict editorial code of ethics, striving to be fair, honest, and transparent with gaming companies. Since our inception in 2013, we have worked with a variety of gaming brands around the globe. Currently, we hold the position as the only media company in Malaysia to produce gaming-related content in three languages, as well as Thai and Indonesian.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a GamerBraves Journalist at Digital Braves Media Group Sdn Bhd located in Kota Damansara. The GamerBraves Journalist will write news articles, conduct research, create press releases, and broadcast. The role will involve daily writing tasks and collaborating with the team to produce engaging and informative content.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and write engaging articles on the latest gaming industry news, trends, and releases
  • Conduct interviews with game developers, publishers, and industry professionals when required
  • Generate creative ideas for unique and informative content related to gaming

Requirements:

  • Strong passion for gaming and extensive knowledge of the gaming industry.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to write clear, concise, and entertaining content.
  • Experience in journalism, blogging, or content creation related to gaming.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Fluent command of the English language.
  • Owning a PlayStation 5 is a must for full-time (Another console is a plus).
  • An open attitude to learning new things and being accountable for your actions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field is welcome.

Do not worry about not having job experience because we are primarily looking for skills, so fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. As mentioned previously, if you are a university student looking for your internship placement, we will also accept you!
