Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

  • Oversee and manage the IT support and infrastructure teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Set departmental goals for individual teams and provide methods to measure and motivate employees to meet those goals.
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to IT managers and employees.
  • Conduct interviews for new positions as they open up.
  • Serve as the executive contact point with IT vendors and manage relationships with third-party IT vendors.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute the organization's corporate technology roadmap in alignment with business strategy, driving innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage while safeguarding corporate digital assets.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and business partners to define and implement the digital business strategy, driving cultural change to support digital business transformation.
  • Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and recommending strategic technological advancements.

ERP System Management:

  • Develop, extend, and maintain an enterprise-class ERP system.
  • Determine ERP requirements through a deep understanding of business processes.
  • Manage integration with other enterprise application systems.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), including ADP and Workday.
  • Ensure seamless integration of HRIS with other business systems and provide support for HR-related technical issues.

Project Management:

  • Oversee all phases of IT project activity, including estimation, initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, staffing, and quality control within the department.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership on project schedules, budgets, and milestones.

Service Delivery and Optimization:

  • Ensure high-quality and timely IT support services are delivered to end-users.
  • Monitor and optimize IT environments to ensure smooth operation of the company’s systems.
  • Ensure internal and external clients receive high-quality IT products and services.

Incident and Problem Management:

  • Address and resolve complex IT incidents and issues.
  • Identify and analyze recurring issues to develop and implement solutions.
  • Lead problem management efforts to reduce the frequency and impact of incidents.

Change and Release Management:

  • Coordinate with other IT teams to manage and support changes to IT systems and services.
  • Ensure changes are communicated effectively and minimize disruptions to users.

System Documentation and Policy Management:

  • Create and maintain a comprehensive set of system documentation.
  • Design and document office networks and connectivity between corporate offices and data centers.
  • Create and maintain IT-related policies and procedures.

Compliance and Security:

  • Develop and implement IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect company data and systems.
  • Provide strategic direction for the Cybersecurity Program using a risk-based approach, overseeing internal and external services to execute on strategy and ensuring program agility to adapt to an evolving threat landscape.
  • Oversee IT risk management, monitoring controls, and working closely with the company’s audit teams.
  • Perform periodic assessments to ensure systems and networks function as expected and comply with corporate IT and security policies.
  • Provide requested information and participate in security assessments during internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to IT operations.

Disaster Recovery and Continuity:

  • Oversee the Disaster Recovery process, including testing, vendor management, and overall configuration.
  • Ensure the company can maintain continuity of service in the event of a disaster.

Vendor and Budget Management:

  • Manage the IT portfolio budget, ensuring resources are adequately allocated for technology investments and balancing future investments across business needs.
  • Evaluate and select technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Direct the development of the IT sourcing strategy and provide executive oversight for strategic vendor and partner relationship management.

Training and Development:

  • Oversee facilitation of technical assistance and end-user training to enhance user proficiency and satisfaction.
  • Direct the development of user documentation and self-help resources.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present reports on IT support performance, including metrics and trends.
  • Analyze support data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT support operations.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually improve support services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (10-15 years) in a senior IT management role, with demonstrated leadership and strategic planning abilities.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Experience with IT security and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP) are a plus.
  • Experience with D365 and Workday is a plus.
  • Experience in Global manufacturing and/or Supply Chain.
  • Experience in SOX controls such as 302 and 404(b) audit.
  • 10+ years of experience in program and vendor management.
  • 10+ years of experience with implementing and supporting ERP systems.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM40,000.00 - RM60,000.00 per month
