- Oversee the management, coordination, execution, control, and completion of specific projects.
- Assemble and lead project staff, providing guidance and support to the project team.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to the appropriate personnel.
- Manage the allocation of project resources, including labor and materials, to optimize project profitability.
- Develop and maintain project timelines and schedules.
- Continuously monitor and provide updates on project progress to management.
- Present reports outlining project status, challenges, and proposed solutions.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to ensure successful outcomes.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts within the project team.
- Develop, manage, and monitor changes to contracts, as well as any deviations or variations.
- Prepare and deliver reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations on project progress.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze project issues, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- skills/requirements
- The candidate must hold at least a Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate, or Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience is in the solar industry is required for this position.
- Required skills include project management, coordination, and supervisory abilities.
- Proficient in project scheduling concepts, techniques, and software like MS Project; experience with Primavera P6 is an advantage.
- Proficient in office productivity tools, particularly the MS Office suite, with advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Must be willing to travel to project sites as needed across Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines is essential.
