Job Description:

  • Requirement Analysis: Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents to create comprehensive test plans and test cases. Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand insurance domain-specific requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop, document, and execute test cases for functional testing of insurance applications. Perform end-to-end testing of insurance processes, including policy administration, claims processing, underwriting, billing, Operations, Finance , Distribution, Products and reporting. Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug tracking tools.
  • Test Strategy and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various insurance modules. Develop and execute regression tests to ensure that changes do not negatively impact existing functionality. Prepare test reports and communicate test results, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, business analysts, and product owners to ensure accurate and complete test coverage. Participate in requirements review sessions and design reviews to provide input on testability and potential issues.

Who we are looking for:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in functional testing within the insurance domain, with a solid understanding of insurance products and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance industry concepts, including policy lifecycle, claims processing, underwriting, and billing.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test cases and test plans.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Center).
  • Insurance Domain certification is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
