This position reports to: Head of Site Acquisition, Operations and Maintenance

Job Purpose:

The Wireless Site Acquisition and Project Senior Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation of wireless site acquisition for outdoor sites, overseeing project execution, operations, and maintenance activities to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, cost, and quality. This role also ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinates with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Wireless Site Acquisition:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of wireless site acquisition for outdoor sites, including site surveys, permit applications, and rollout activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, Federal and State regulations, Municipal/Local Council guidelines, and One-Stop-Agencies (OSAs) requirements.

2.Project Implementation & Maintenance:

  • Manage both project implementation and operations/maintenance activities, ensuring 24x7 availability and support for site maintenance.
  • Ensure the timely collection and updating of all maintenance information in the relevant systems.

3.Coordination & Stakeholder Management:

  • Coordinate site surveys, permit processes, and rollout activities in line with applicable regulations and company standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, external contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with the Sales team and customers to obtain necessary approvals, particularly when additional scope (VO) arises.

4.Quality, Compliance, and Reporting:

  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality, timeline, and cost requirements, as well as planned organizational values and benefits.
  • Develop, update, and maintain systems and processes to support effective project management.
  • Prepare and compile reports on project status, maintenance activities, and any other relevant data in a timely manner.

5.Technical Oversight:

  • Review, comment, and approve technical proposals related to site structures and equipment specifications as per customer requirements.
  • Provide technical support during project execution, including participation in site surveys and coordination with consultants, contractors, and the Site Acquisition team.

6.Vendor and Procurement Management:

  • Initiate and manage the tender process in collaboration with Procurement to appoint consultants, vendors, and contractors that meet business requirements.
  • Ensure all commercial, procurement, and financial decisions meet company standards and provide value for money.

7.Project Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide on-the-ground support during project execution and assist in preparing tenders for new projects.
  • Ensure proper site acceptance by coordinating with contractors, vendors, internal teams, and customers according to the defined requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum [X] years of experience in wireless site acquisition, project management, and telecom operations.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance in site acquisition and maintenance.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in the use of project management tools and systems.
