POSITION SUMMARY
To ensure electrical engineering and design execution to follow Air Products Standards, Specification and Work Instructions.
To fulfill the requirements of the position the incumbent must develop collaborative working relationships with internal and external team members (within region and global), Operations, Procurement and Technology.
Principal Accountabilities
Undertake electrical system engineering and design independently, including FEED, BED and DED.
Provide necessary technical support for procurement and construction as required.
Plan and organize the daily work of electrical engineers/assistant engineer in order to timely complete all deliverables for the discipline with high quality and cost-effective design.
Maintain good interface with other disciplines.
Report to Asia Electrical Engineering Manager.
Job Requirements
Job Incumbent is expected to have minimum 10 years work experience in Electrical Engineering and Design for Chemical or Petrochemical related industries.
Job Incumbent is expected to have bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and automation or relevant discipline.
Job Incumbent is expected to have certain discipline management skills in large scale project.
Familiar with electrical equipment and bulk material sizing and selection.
Well understand local electrical engineering & design codes and be familiar with international standards and codes.
Well understand the interface with other disciplines, such as process, piping, civil, structure, mechanical, machinery, instrument, plumbing and firefighting, HVAC, telecom, etc.
Good skills in using electrical system analysis software, such as ETAP, SKM PTW, etc.
Good team player and effective communication skills.
Local registered electrical engineer is preferred.
