The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Hadoop clusters using HDP and Cloudera distributions, as well as proficiency in database systems such as YugabyteDB, Oracle, and MySQL. Additionally, expertise in administering and developing ETL tools like Qlik Replicate, Talend, and Golden Gate is essential. Key Responsibilities: 1. Hadoop Administration: - Manage, maintain, and monitor Hadoop clusters using HDP and Cloudera distributions. - Ensure high availability and performance of Hadoop clusters. - Perform cluster maintenance, including backups, upgrades, and patching, OS patching support. - Implement and manage security protocols for Hadoop clusters. - Troubleshoot and resolve Hadoop-related issues. 2. Database Administration/Development: - Administer and manage databases, including YugabyteDB, Oracle, and MySQL. - Perform database tuning, optimization, and maintenance. - Develop and implement database solutions to support business requirements. - Ensure data integrity and security across all database platforms. - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. 3. ETL Tools Administration/Development: - Administer and manage ETL tools such as Qlik Replicate, Talend, and Golden Gate. - Develop ETL processes to support data integration and transformation needs. - Monitor ETL workflows and ensure data accuracy and consistency. - Troubleshoot and resolve ETL-related issues. 4. Collaboration and Support: - Work closely with data engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements. - Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders. - Document procedures, configurations, and best practices. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+years of experience in Hadoop administration, with expertise in HDP and Cloudera distributions. - Strong experience with database administration and development, particularly with YugabyteDB, Oracle, and MySQL. - Proficiency in administering and developing ETL tools such as Qlik Replicate, Talend, and Golden Gate. - Solid understanding of data management, data warehousing, and data integration concepts. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: - Certification in Hadoop administration (e.g., CCA Administrator, HDP Certified Administrator). - Certification in database administration (e.g., Oracle DBA, MySQL DBA). - Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) for automation. Skills Needed: • ETL: Informatica (Certified) • Database: Teradata DB or Hadoop-CDH or Oracle (Certified in any ONE) - Optional • Data warehousing concepts and Hands on: Teradata (FSLDM/FSD, GCFR, MDM) • Big Data/Data Science/Discovery platform: HDFS/Hive/HUE/Scala & AI/ML(Certified Developer) • Data Analytics: SAS or Qlik Sense or PowerBI or Splunk/R Studio/Python (Certified in any) • CI/CD or DevOps, YugabyteDB, Oracle, and MySQL • Good understanding on data modeling concepts in Banking domain & has exposure in BigData & Data lakes." • Certification in Hadoop administration (e.g., CCA Administrator, HDP Certified Administrator). - Certification in database administration (e.g., Oracle DBA, MySQL DBA). - Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) for automation.
