Job Summary:

Actively seeking out new sales opportunities, setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • To develop and execute merchandising strategies to achieve sales target and to raise the penetration of FMCG products
  • To meet distribution and strike rate targets as per guidelines
  • To service existing accounts, obtain orders and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules
  • To analyse customer segmentation and shopping behaviours
  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales options.
  • Assist in implementation of Sales Strategy and Promotion set by the Company
  • Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance
  • Ensure the payment collection practice as organization standards
  • Continues market researching, recommending new opportunities and monitor development market trends recommending profit and service improvements and feedback to the management
  • Identifies products improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors
  • Follow up closely on sales enquiries and coordinate with warehouse & logistic team and customers
  • Ensure timely delivery of finished goods to customers
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standard
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • To perform other ad-hoc tasks from time to time assigned by supervisor

Qualification and Education Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Marketing/ Business Administration or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ sales working experience in FMCG industry.
  • Preferably a candidate with knowledge of cosmetics and beauty products.
  • Preferably with experience dealing with large pharmacy chains such as Watsons and Guardian.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Computer literacy – Excel, Words, Power Points, SQL Financial Accounting and etc.
    • Good analytical and strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
    • Able to work multi-tasks efficiently and effectively in line with management’s plan
    • Willing to learn, possess strong interpersonal skill, good positive attitude committed and communicate well with all levels
    • To complete the allocated assignments within a stipulated time frame and able to work under pressure
    • Possess own transport
    • Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Jalil
