Site Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion. Duties & Responsibilities 1. Site supervision and arrangement of site works and other activities that are carried out at the construction site; 2. Monitor work progress, assist the sub-contractors to carry out works on schedule and conform to specifications; 3. Attend meetings and liaise closely with client / consultant as well as local authorities pertaining to the project; 4. Carry out joint inspection with client’s / consultant’s representatives; 5. Responsible for all personnel functions of sub-contractors and workers at the construction site; 6. Ensure coordination of works among all sub-contractors and site staff; 7. Check daily attendance of sub-contractors for late arrival, absent, early departure, false claim and etc; 8. Ensure discipline and good morale maintained at the construction site; 9. Ensure site safety and health requirement are maintained and practiced at all times; 10. Ensure quality of work up to specified requirements; 11. Monitoring delivery of construction materials and ensure that the quality / types / dimension are as per specified requirements; 12. Preparation of work progress report and other relevant reports for the project; 13. Undertake special assignment, ad hoc functions and related duties as assigned. 14.
