Full Time Junior/trainee Barista (Menara Gamuda) Ko

Hello! Sevencups is a specialty coffee bar (started in 2013) borne out of love for good coffee, paired with artisanal desserts and sandwiches to be enjoyed in a relaxing haven. We are currently located in 2 neighbourhoods - Damansara Perdana (Menara Gamuda) and Cheras (Sunway Velocity Mall).

We are looking to hire in both locations, but all our baristas might also scheduled to take on a couple of shifts each month in the other outlet to be able to experience a different bar set-up as well as meet the different regulars from each neighbourhood.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level

Required language(s): English (knowing other languages will be an added advantage)

Able to work 5 days a week (full time, minimum 6 months commitment), must be willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays

Must be punctual, maintain a good attendance record and able to work under own initiative without supervision

Pleasant personality with service orientated attitude

Possess good verbal communication skills

A team player and willing to work the extra mile to achieve outlet targets

Part time positions (6 months commitment, 2-3 shifts per week) also available - with priority to those with similar work experience

Junior baristas from the Sunway Velocity branch will be required to take a few shifts in the Gamuda outlet during their training

Responsibilities:

Deliver excellent customer service to all customers (including operating cashier and dealing with customer questions and complaints)

Learning about coffee brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality.

Maintain cleanliness of outlet and workstations, and upkeep of fixtures and equipment

Fulfil any other duties assigned by the supervisor
