Job Mission

To provide exceptional land administration services that support TNB’s business operations.

Job Responsibilities

Manage Quit Rent Payments

  • Verify TNB’s land title list and quit rent bills.
  • Administer payments and manage receipts.
  • Prepare and monitor the allocated budget for quit rent payments.

Administer Assessment Payments

  • Verify information provided in notifications from local authorities.
  • Scrutinize the annual value imposed by local authorities.
  • Administer and monitor objections to assessments raised with local authorities.
  • Manage appeals to the High Court, Federal Court, or Court of Appeal, when necessary.
  • Verify TNB’s assessment bills.
  • Administer payments and manage receipts.
  • Prepare and monitor the budget for assessment payments

Provide Valuation Advisory Services

  • Verify asset information for internal purposes.
  • Conduct site visits, if necessary.
  • Perform property market studies.
  • Appoint professional valuers as needed.
  • Review valuation reports prepared by external valuers.
  • Attend land acquisition hearings.
  • Evaluate compensation awards determined by the Land Administrator.
  • Manage appeals to the High Court, Federal Court, or Court of Appeal, if required.
  • Sign Form H in land acquisition cases.
  • Administer compensation payments.
  • Manage land title replacements and quit rent revisions.
  • Maintain data in the Property Information System (PIS), Enterprise Content Management (ECM), and TNB’s Land Title Master List.

Manage TNB’s Assets

  • Verify newly received land titles.
  • Collect new titles from the Land Office (via Borang 5F).
  • Update and maintain data in the Property Information System (PIS), ECM, and TNB’s Master Title List.
  • Conduct periodic physical audits of land titles.
  • Prepare regular reports on land titles.
  • Facilitate the replacement of temporary land titles with final titles.
  • Administer the vesting of TNB’s land titles.
  • Apply for changes in land title conditions, as needed.
  • Manage land swaps.
  • Coordinate site visits with the relevant divisions, if required.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management, Property Valuation, Property Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in land procedures and the land valuation process.
