Job Summary: This role involves working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job description:

  • Oversee all procurement functions, including sourcing, negotiating, and placing orders for raw materials, food ingredients, packaging, and other F&B supplies.
  • Determine the correct quantity and timing for purchase orders, ensuring alignment with production and operational requirements.
  • Manage procurement issues such as late deliveries, damaged goods, incorrect deliveries, and invoice discrepancies, ensuring quick resolution.
  • Lead the purchasing department to meet operational goals, including revenue targets, inventory management, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all purchasing processes and documentation adhere to company policies and are well-maintained for audit purposes.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, production equipment, R&D components, and other critical supplies to support business needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of goods.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with halal regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required by the management.

Job requirement

  • At least 2years of relevant experience in F&B industry
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement practices within the food and beverage industry, including raw material and equipment requirements.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with halal regulations and compliance.
  • Preferable with own transportation
