We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Financial Shared Services to lead our finance operations and drive efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness across our organization. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of financial shared services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.

As the Head of Finance Shared Service Centre, you will be responsible for leading the finance shared service team with a focus on process optimization, revamp, new country/business entity migration, team upskilling, and leveraging Oracle NetSuite ERP solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring efficient financial processes, supporting the company's growth strategies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the finance shared service function.

What you will do:

Process Optimization and Revamp:

  • Lead the assessment and redesign of existing finance processes leveraging Oracle NetSuite ERP functionalities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Implement best practices and standardize processes across the Finance Shared Service Centre to optimize resource utilization and streamline workflows within Oracle NetSuite environment.
  • Drive automation initiatives using Oracle NetSuite capabilities to minimize manual interventions and improve productivity.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics within Oracle NetSuite to monitor process effectiveness and identify areas for further improvement.

New Country/Business Entity Migration and Set-Up:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful migration of finance functions for new country expansions or business entity setups within Oracle NetSuite.
  • Develop migration strategies, timelines, and implementation plans leveraging Oracle NetSuite tools to ensure seamless transition and compliance with local regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address legal, tax, and regulatory requirements within Oracle NetSuite environment during the setup phase.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team throughout the migration process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives using Oracle NetSuite functionalities.
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Upskilling Current Team:

  • Identify skill gaps within the finance team and develop training programs leveraging Oracle NetSuite training resources to enhance capabilities in areas such as process improvement methodologies, technical skills, and business acumen.
  • Mentor and coach team members leveraging Oracle NetSuite knowledge base to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Encourage cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within Oracle NetSuite environment to build a high-performing finance team.
  • Monitor the progress of upskilling initiatives leveraging Oracle NetSuite training metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions.

What you will do:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Proven experience 10+ years in a senior finance leadership role, with a focus on process optimization, shared services management, and project management, preferably within Oracle NetSuite environment.
  • Strong understanding of finance operations, including financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls, within Oracle NetSuite ERP.
  • Demonstrated success in leading process improvement initiatives, driving change management, and delivering results in a dynamic environment leveraging Oracle NetSuite functionalities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment and familiarity with Oracle NetSuite ERP systems is desirable.
