Summary

To manage and monitor Waste Treatment Plant (WWTP) to ensure compliance with effluent standards
To fulfil DOE requirement and ensure compliance with Environmental Regulations.
To ensure that the Environment Management System meets the requirements of ISO 14001.
To ensure compliance to Environmental regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

To fulfill DOE requirement and comply with Environmental Regulations.
To liaise with DOE for licensing and compliance subject matters.
To manage waste water treatment plant and to check the daily water treatment quality before discharge to ensure final discharged water meet the DOE standard requirement.
To respond and conduct industrial effluent treatment process control and monitoring effectively and efficiently and suggest any improvement
To conduct periodic check and routine inspection to treatment processes according to the system recommendation and checklist
To prepare regular performance monitoring report as per DOE requirements.
To ensure that the Environment Management System meets the requirements of ISO 14001.
To handle the operations of Scheduled Waste and Waste Water Treatment Plant
To develop and implement environmental policies and procedures in accordance with local laws and regulations.
To conduct regular inspections and audits of the workplace to identify potential environmental hazards and risks.
To collaborate with management and employees to promote environmental programmes and encourage participation in environmental initiatives.
Any other duties as and when instructed by the Branch Manager or Section Head, SHES.
