SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
Overview: The Senior Accounts Executive oversees financial operations, prepares complex financial reports, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. They mentor junior staff and play a key role in strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely compliance with tax regulations and filings.
- Manage audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Mentor and supervise junior executives, providing training and support.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial goals and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- STPM/CAT/Diploma in Accounting/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; ACCA/CPA; or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in similar role.
- Extensive experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCount Accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and leadership experience.
