Research Executive, International Warehouse Distribution Centre

Key Responsibilities

1) Research & Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to inform project planning and strategy.
• Analyze data from various sources to identify opportunities, risks, and potential impacts on project outcomes.
• Develop detailed reports and presentations that summarize research findings and recommend actionable strategies.
• Act as a liaison and assist in the communication between internal and external stakeholders, including legal teams, landlords, suppliers, and contractors to facilitate the completion of the warehouse renting process.

2) Project Planning:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables based on research insights.
• Assist in the development of project timelines and resource allocation plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of research and ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.

3) Strategic Support:

• Provide strategic recommendations based on research findings and project analysis.
• Identify potential challenges and provide solutions to mitigate risks in project execution.

4) Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather input and feedback during the research phases.
• Communicate research findings and project plans effectively to all relevant stakeholders.

5) Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive records of research activities and progress reports.
• Prepare and present regular updates to senior management on research outcomes and project status.

Experience/ Skills requirement:

• Minimum 1-2years relevant working experience.
• Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in international/cross-cultural interactions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Display effectiveness and efficiency in working.
• Good command in English and Mandarin (reading, writing and speaking) and MS office skills.
• Have basic knowledge on legal, HR and international business.
• Have basic knowledge on warehouse operation.
• Multi-lingual is an added advantage.
• Ability to identify work process issues and apply improvements.
• Detailed and meticulous.
• Able to travel internationally to support the new warehouse setup, expansions projects and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
