Job Description
1. Market Intelligence
• Display understanding of MDV’s products and services and its application to its target sector
• Analyze and monitor economic, industry and market developments to derive insights on the potential impact to MDV's customer base and potential customers
2. Networking
• Identify new transaction opportunities through networking and relationship development to generate a sales pipeline
• Work with manager to develop a sales plan for the year in order to achieve the desired target revenue for the department
• Carry out nurturing activities to build and develop leads & prospects pipelines and continuously manage and balance client expectation and MDV’s delivery capability
3. Sales Management
• Facilitate compilation of documentation on financing application from customers’ and submit to Credit Managers for processing of applications
• Work in partnership with Credit Managers to meet clients and recommend suitable products and/or services based on the customers’ requirements and risk profile
4. Customer Relationship Management
• Maintain good relationship with Project Owners / Sponsors / Partners / Ministry to be updated with recent changes and development of new projects
• Display good account management skills by continuously monitoring and deepening understanding of client’s business landscape and taking relevant actions to actively manage the account
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or its equivalent
- From 2 to 5 years of working experience as Relationship Manager in either:
Corporate Banking, Business/ Commercial Banking, Wholesale Banking, SME Banking, Contract/Project Financing, Revolving/Term Loan,
or
Sales Engineer or Salesperson in Technology, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Green Technology, Biotechnology, Emerging Technology companies
- Possess strong Market Intelligence and Customer Relationship Management skills.
- Result-oriented.
