Real Estate Valuation Officer

The Estates Department of Universiti Malaya is responsible for managing, maintaining, and strategic planning the university's infrastructure and physical assets. Its core functions include ensuring efficient facility operations, space management, and development planning that aligns with the university's goals.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Real Estate Valuation Officer. Your role will involve assessing and appraising university properties for various purposes such as acquisition, disposal, leasing, and insurance. You will work closely with the maintenance and property development division to ensure that the valuation of assets is accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with relevant laws and guidelines. Additionally, you will provide expert advice on property-related financial decisions and maintain records of property values and transactions.

Qualifications

-Bachelor's in Real Estate, Property Management, or related field.

-Professional certification or license (e.g., from RISM).

-3-5 years in real estate valuation or property management.

-Knowledge of valuation methods and property law.

-Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.

-Familiar with Malaysian property regulations.

-High integrity and professionalism.

-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
