The Marketing Manager is accountable for delivering the key marketing projects and being the brand ambassador for O’Briens. This position also requires you to lead a number of marketing campaigns and collaborate with the cross-functional business teams. Some of the key accountabilities for this role will include (but are not limited to): • To direct and grow the O'Briens brand within the market • To maximise company revenue through effective marketing interventions • To provide strategic input into overall company business development • To co-operate & collaborate with O'Briens nationwide licensing & partner companies (agencies, suppliers, etc) to maximise and leverage the brand’s presence • To drive the internal brand and culture of O'Briens through its people in the market Job Scope: Planning & Rollout The Marketing Manager will be required to develop regional & local marketing plans which would then be undertaken in conjunction with the Outlet Manager & Area Manager. Ongoing management and monitoring of marketing activities including: • Development of briefs, marketing material and media schedules • Monitoring of marketing budgets and signing off costs • Leading the execution of campaigns/projects • Supervision of subordinates (operations/ interns) in the rollout process • Post-campaign reports, data analysis and quarterly project reviews • Assisting with Major Strategic Events Strategic input for national business strategy • The monitoring and evaluation of marketing statistics (customer count, ticket average and turnover) for the group and competitor’s activity to make necessary adjustments to marketing campaigns • Development of status reports to collect and collate status data to be presented in meetings • Attending a monthly status meeting with the Management team Supplier Management • Development & management of agency relationships with the alignment and induction of partners • Engendering a positive, efficient and co-operative working relationship with suppliers Marketing Leadership • Being a key brand ambassador of the marketing function within the region • Share best practice • Ensure the development of suitable marketing training material and implementation for Operations • Inspiring and managing outlet managers and all staff to assist in executing projects as requested • Provide ongoing support and assistance to the management team • Assist with company expansion and site selection Ad-Hoc Projects Qualifications: • At least 3 years of experience in relevant field • Possesses a degree in marketing/business-related field • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge of marketing trends and best practice • Motivation and mentoring skills • Relationship management skills • Organizational skills • Strong presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills • Project management skills • People management skills • Knowledge of restaurant operations • Business acumen and financial discipline
