Proven expertise in managing projects under Verra’s Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and generating Verified Carbon Units (VCUs).

REDD+ Project Experience:

Strong hands-on experience with REDD+ initiatives focused on emissions reduction through sustainable forest management.

Carbon Markets & Credits:

In-depth understanding of carbon trading platforms, carbon credit mechanisms, and their financial implications.

Sustainability Strategy:

Ability to develop and integrate carbon market strategies within the broader ESG framework, reducing environmental impact.

Regulatory Compliance:

Knowledge of global carbon market regulations, voluntary carbon markets, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Carbon Market Strategy:

Develop and implement strategies to reduce the organization’s carbon footprint through carbon markets and ensure Verra VCS certification.

VCU Management:

Oversee the lifecycle of Verified Carbon Units (VCUs), ensuring compliance with Verra's Verified Carbon Standard.

REDD+ Project Oversight:

Manage REDD+ projects to reduce deforestation and emissions, aligning with global sustainability goals.

Carbon Footprint Analysis:

Assess the organization’s carbon emissions, identify reduction opportunities, and support carbon neutrality goals.

Compliance & Regulation:

Ensure compliance with global carbon market regulations and stay updated on Verra and REDD+ protocols.

Sustainability Integration:

Integrate carbon strategies into broader ESG and sustainability initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve carbon reduction and transparency goals.

Reporting:

Create sustainability reports aligned with standards like GRI and CDP, tracking carbon and VCU performance.

Market & Risk Analysis:

Analyze carbon market trends, assess risks, and identify revenue opportunities from carbon credits.
