Bank Litigation Lawyer/ Pupillage

Banking Litigation Lawyer - Job Scope:

1) To attend and to assist in case management, Hearing, Trial, or in any contentious or litigation matters.
2) To draft correspondences, pleadings/cause papers.
3) To conduct research for litigation tasks and study each case.
4) To liaise and communicate with clients.
5) To attend and to follow up on any brief assigned to the lawyer until the completion of the file.
6) Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.

Experience / Knowledge on (but not limited to) the following area would be required:

1) Winding-Up / Bankruptcy matters / Family Matters;
2) General & Commercial Litigation; and/or
3) Some corporate know-how is a bonus.

Pupillage - Job Scope:
Job Description:

1. Assist lawyer in handling Corporate, Litigation, and Conveyancing matters
2. Attend court as and when necessary
3. To attend and follow up on any brief assigned to the lawyer until the completion of the file.
4. Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner

Requirements for Banking Litigation Lawyer:
1) Called to the Bar.
2) At least 2 year (s) of working experience as a Banking Litigation Lawyer.
3) Excellent command of Bahasa & English.
4) Outgoing.
5) Independent, Meticulous and Hard-working.
6) Able to start as soon as possible or within a reasonable time frame.
Salary: Will be commensurate with experience and personality.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB), obtain a Certificate in Legal Practice and/or Barrister Certificate.
2. Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia
3. Good Research and drafting skills
4. Good Attitude, hardworking, responsible, and willing to learn
5. Strong analytical skills and good time management
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. A great team player, attention to detail, meticulous and well organized
8. Excellent computer skills.
9. Highly motivated individual who is not afraid to work hard and has an interest in working in fast-paced environment
10. Able to report and update
11. Being able to start as soon as possible or within a reasonable time frame.
